• Hello brandon my name is Buck and I live in Fernley, Nevada. I'm very interested in your product but I'm still alittle on the fence. I recently purchased another home based FFL kit and all they sent was some paperwork and a DVD saying "thanks for your purchase, good luck", I totally got a SCAM and still a little bitter. Is there anything that you might say that could put the sale of your product over the top? I'm looking at buying both FFL and Class III that you are selling as a Combo product.  Buck - I am your man!  Checkout my references, selling on e-bay for over 10 years with 100% positive customer feedback, hard to do!  Find me someone else on e-bay for over 10 years with 100% positive feedback from every customer.  I have helped customers in every state overcome the obstacle you are facing with an FFL at home, I have my FFL license from home and sell at gunshows, through the Internet and from my home for local customers.  I am doing exactly what you plan to do, see my website at www.sdsilencer.com.  Yes, I have bought all my competitors FFL guides online and I know my product is by far the best, many are unmanned websites and scams, all of them lack an easy process to follow, each one I purchased was at least 5 or more years old with no updates; one was 10 years old and still reflected the old dates.  I am the real deal my friend, love helping others exercise their FREEDOM to buy and sell guns.  I do have a day job as a pharmacist, but I always answer emails quickly to ensure no one is left hanging and you are 100% prepared for each step in the process, ask my wife... always in front of the computer. I have 150% money back guarantee, nothing to risk!  I have never had to issue a refund because if you follow everything I tell you, YOU will be approved.  So the question is... Does $54.99 seem like a fair price to guarantee an approval and save probably 40 hours of head aches and unnecessary research?  Without my guide, it is almost impossible to get a home based FFL approval and then get approved to setup relationships with wholesalers and manufacturers after approval.  I update my guides daily based on feedback from customers' local experiences.  Where is Fernley, NV... near Reno or Vegas?  Where can you get a 150% money back guarantee in Vegas? Let's get started today Buck!  You will be glad you did my friend!
  • Brandon, I have been praying if I should take your course for two weeks and I feel the Lord is in it. That is why I asked the two questions.  I had a good feeling in my heart about you and your course. I guess you could use that as a testimonial.  I will tell you something I believe very strongly. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and have been in the very room our Founders signed the Declaration many times.  There is not a doubt in my mind those men loved the Lord. And these men that loved the Lord, penned the 2nd Amendment.   The more I see the liberals who stayed home while I was serving during Vietnam oppose the 2nd Amendment, the more I know that God is in it.   Here I am preaching another sermon.... God bless you my friend and many thanks for all your help and attention to detail,  Pastor Greg
  • Brandon my application went in the mail last week. Thanks for your patience in answering all of my stupid questions. Your service has been top shelf!  Eric the IrishFan

  • Hey, Brandon, I am glad to say that I am very happy to have followed your advice. I had successfully submitted the application on January 9th of this year and 4 weeks later, I received a call from the ATF agent, who set up an appointment with me for an interview the very next day at 9 AM.  The interview was as you suggested and .....  The ATF agent agreed 100% with everything you suggested, from the type of FFL license you recommended to how to set it up initially.  It was like having the questions and the answers to a test before taking the test, throughout the ENTIRE application process! Well, thanks for the help. As always, thanks for everything.  please tell me how I can send a testimonial to you as to this great program, I am SO EXCITED TO HAVE AN FFL, Brandon I have wanted one for years.  Rob of NM

  • Brandon,  My application is in the mail and on it's way to the B.A.T.F.E. with confidence.  I was told by so many people that there is no way I can get this home based FFL but I feel so confident and strong about my application that I am not even worried at this time about obtaining my home based FFL.  I sent in my application applying for my type XXX license.  Thanks so much for guiding me through all my questions and taking the time to answer each and every one of them in nothing short of lightning speed.  You were so prompt in answering my questions that I commend you for being able to do this and in taking the time to do this.  You are what you said you are, you are what you advertised, and you did what you said you would do.  Your customer service is next to non.  I am now on my way to the next step.  Preparing for my ATF visit.  Thanks so much in helping me get this far.  Just this much alone is well worth the price of what you are selling.  Once I get through the FFL. I know I will want to purchase the Class 3 FFL License guide and start on that.  I'm still not sure about the Washington laws pertaining to the Class 3 License though?  How do I know if Washington State is Class 3 friendly?  Thanks Brandon, you are amazing and been so much help!  Brad of WA state.
  • The meeting with ATF went very well today Brandon. He gave me my license number and told me it would be about 4 weeks before the hard copy came in the mail. Your material made it a breeze, I cannot thank you enough my friend.  Starting Class 3 right NOW....  Scott of KS

  • Hey Brandon - Most likely I will be using my home address for the FFL. I also wanted to add that I am very impressed with your guide and after this quick response your customer service!!! I actually ordered your guide and someone else's which caught my attention just like your website. Reading the websites I favored yours but was just as curious about the other guide also. So I figured an extra $30 for more info I can use, well worth it. Needless to say your guide is 1. alot easier to use 2. More detailed 3. Contains the same plus more VERY useful information. I was hoping to gain a little more info from another point of view with the other guide but got nothing out of it, oh well. Once I get thru the FFL I will start on your class 3 FFL License guide!!!! You are the man, keep up the great service Brandon! Thanks Again!!! Nick of CA

  • Frank here, Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I bought your FFL package in Sept and received my FFL last week. • Kevin here, i purchased your competitor's kit and I am VERY dissappointed, do you offer assistance with questions, and a personal contact # to answer any other questions. ? thanks Kevin- Hello sir! Do you mind if I ask which one you bought? A couple of thoughts, I am convinced my guide is SO thorough you may not even need additional help. If you do, I prefer email because I do have a full time job, although I am always available to answer questions over the phone if you hit a snag sir. Look forward to working with you! Brandon - ok, I am impressed already with response this quick. it was fflkit.com i already have most all the paperwork but could not get any help with exact answers on the application, their guide is poorly organized and not very clear.  Kevin of LA

Brandon - I am thinking of buying/selling/refinishing guns as a hobby/business and am about to buy your book, but before I do, I want to be sure about what I need to do 'at home' to be compliant with FFL regulations. Will I need to purchase a safe or create some suitable storage for guns here in my home?

Kevin- The license is between $150 to $200 for first three years and then $90 to $150 for next three years to renew, according to license you pursue. I make recommendations in my guide based on your individual situation as to which FFL License you should apply for, numerous types are available.

No changes to your home are needed, just a key locked closet is a good idea. Hope this helps sir! Look forward to working with you! Thanks, Brandon

Below are a list of a few emails and responses I have sent to common questions over the several months. Remember, unlike my competition, once you purchase my guide... I am a LIVE resource you can email anytime with an FFL related question, more than worth the price of the guide! Thanks,Brandon Home Based FFL Licensed Dealer.

After carefully reviewing your information I have found that it is more than worth the money. It is stepping me through the process without the insecurity of not knowing what I am doing or the next step. I can also foresee advantages in the future of having a resource to turn to if I have in questions. What are your insights on gunshows? Thanks again,Rob

Fee for gun shows is low, usually $20 to $25 per weekend for a 6 to 8 foot tablet. For me as a Class 3 FFL dealer, they are great; I never sell many silencers at a show, but get a ton of calls almost every week afterwards. Silencers are great because I collect the money, then order the product and then process the paperwork. Yes,email anytime with questions!

Frank - Did you see my pagesin the guide specifically on wholesalers? I use XXXXXX and I am home based. Thanks for the feedback! I see the tips on applying for FFL wholesalers AS IMPORTANT as the FFL License Guide. NONE of my competitors even cover this MOST IMPORTANT area.

Mr. Maddox,I thank you for your fast reply. Yes -- I am a lawful permanent resident (green card holder) or an 'Immigrant Alien' if you like; with all the necessary documentation. Your insert below seems to exclude only non-immigrant aliens. I will buy the 2-in-1 combo as advertised and digest the contents. Thereafter I will make contact again and engage your services. Tim - Yes,the FFL is a federal license and the same in each state. KS would be an excellent state to start a firearms business. Yes,you must give the ATF 30 advanced notice before you change the address, address change is easy.

Hello! brandon, can i go ahead and order the guide and have access to the web site and look things over really good and then submit the application when i'm ready!!? being a firearms dealer is one of life long ambitions, living in a perfect world I would love to have a gun shop, pawnshop combo!! but leaning more on the guns!! soi've been looking for the perfect location! but i would like to go ahead and get the FFL and then have it transferred to a business! and that presents another question! can i get and retain an FFL and just kind of sit on it with not many sales at first? is there a minimum of activity that my FFL has to produce?

Tim - Sure, you can sit on it as long as you want. The only problem with setting up in your name and then putting in a business is that you have to do an entire new application. You can get the guide and review as long as you want,I update almost every day. I can extend your membership as long as you want. My guide will tell you how to setup the business as well! Let me know if I can help!

HEY BRANDON!! tim here again,I have a few more questions! #1 do we send the $200 with application? Yes,they take credit card also and if turned down do they send our money back? YES,from them & me #2 can we use home FFL like to go and set up tables at gun shows?YES we are not limited to our home and the Internet are we? Yes,kinda, all sales must be picked up at your "business" address or mailed to another FFL dealer for out of state #3 and if i go ahead and sole proprietorship will i be grandfathered in if this administration takes our rights when i go to move it to a business name? Not sure, they can never take the right away to sell gunsand whats your take on that issue? Obama has too much stuff already on his plate to mess with guns. I been reading some of the propaganda from other ffl sites! youcant blame a guy for doing his home worklol!! andi'm pretty sure yours looks good to me! but this is forever for me and i want to do the right things! I bought all my competitors,so I KNOW I am the best! Have a good evening!

Good question. They want 30 days notice if you move to approve site you move to. If you are living on base, you need base commander's permission to get an FFL License. The part that takes the longest is the FBI fingerprint check, which will be done in the beginning. Thanks for serving your country!

My take on it is that the C&R is the same amount of paperwork, more restrictive on what you can buy,and not much cheaper. I have always just advised everyone to get an FFL over a C&R License. What do you see as the down side of getting an FFL over the C&R? C&R is $30 every 3 years and FFL is $90 every 3 years.

However you have it labeled something different. I'm thirty years old and currently a school teacher. I have numerous rifles for hunting, but I have little knowledge in the licensing requirements. Also, being from NY,there seems to be a lot of restrictions in this state.

Roger - To sell guns you will need an FFL License obviously as you know. On the application you will select XXXX,the XXXX is for FFL manufacturer, which I doubt you need. I have an FFL 01 & FFL 07 and a Class 3 FFL License. Class 3 goes on top of the FFL and allows you to sell silencers & machine guns. Probably the plain FFL Guide is what you need in NY,most Class 3 items are illegal to sell in NY. Thanks for the question & let me know how I can help you sir!

Chad - ATF asks for a 30 day notice to change business address. Sometimes the inspector wants to do a new site visit. Could you use your new homes address assuming the process may take a couple months? Not hard, probably smart to start now,the fingerprint check they do on you is what takes time.

And some information on that would really help. Thanks! --Chris

Chris - I buy all my silencers directly from the manufactures and 100% of them approved me to sell. The machines guns are obviously illegal to make new ones,so often you are a middle man... guy wants one and he has you do the transfers for him. What state are you in? I like silencers because the margins are MUCH higher and the competition is close to none... Here is a list of Class dealers by state... http://www.major-malfunction.com/maj_malf_5u_005.htm Does that help?

Cory - I cover this in great detail in my product, not a hard meeting, but helps when you are prepared,by me! None of my competitors cover this most important step! My goal is the be the best resource on the web for obtaining your FFL License.

Brandon,I ordered your FFL and class 3 guide today and wanted your input on something. I have and existing Sub S Florida corporation through which I invest in and develop real estate projects. Would it be possible/smart to apply for my FFL through this existing corporation and then have a dba company for my firearms business? Thank you - Bo

Consider a separate LLC to avoid combining investments with a business, legally it is fine... but firewalls are nice when in the firearms business. See my entire section in the guide on business creations and starting under your own name, pros and cons of each....

Message: Hello,Thanks for the great service. My question is, is it possible to get the FFL here in San Mateo,California? I'm 20 minutes south of San Francisco. Technically,I don't really want to sell guns, but I would like to buy them at reduced prices from my home. Who knows maybe one day I could be a dealer but my other professional job is time consuming - IT Field. Reading the info about the FFL is that you MUST BE a dealer to get it. I don't want to mislead the ATF and then have a red flag on me for future purchases. Thanks for the reply. Sincerely,H

Hermon - They do really frown on getting an FFL License for personal usage. Would you be able to sell to friends? Sell to Relatives? Sell maybe a few each year on Gunbroker.com? If yes, then you are fine. They don't make you prove you will make a profit, but they only approve your FFL License if you plan to sell guns as a "dealer". The license is a federal license and all the states are the same. Unless you have some obscure local law against selling guns in San Mateo... you should be fine. I think we all start at Technically,I don't really want to sell guns, but I would like to buy them at reduced prices from my home. Then after time we see it as an opportunity to meet new people and sell where we never thought possible. My guide will help you accomplish your goals,I have helped many in your shoes and I am only an email away!

Message: You mention in your video that the ATF has an in-person meeting with you. Is that at my home or at their office?. My wife is a bit sensitive about a firearms meeting in our house with the kids around. I'm in New Jersey Thanks Jan

Jan- The meeting will be at the address where you plan to obtain the FFL License. I met with them early one morning for a couple hours at my kitchen table, laid back meeting to discuss the laws governing sell of firearms,no need to be nervous. They are ATF,dressed like a police officer, nothing bad. They are just making sure you are familiar with the federal laws governing firearms. I lived in Westfield,NJ for a while,I like NJ! My guide will prepare you for the meeting, you will be better prepared to ask more informed questions and you will be glad you bought my guide!

Thank you for your quick response. Is it advisable to get this license if you want to mainly enjoy shooting at a reduce cost by buying at dealers prices? Or is it not worth it unless a person plans to sell and transfer firearms for others?. At today's prices ,which have gone up tremendously for ammo and firearms,I'm looking for a way to lower my costs and shoot at targets more!.Selling and transfering firearms just isn't in the ballpark for me I may just buy your program to advance my knowledge of the business. What do you think?

Honestly... I got an FFL License to do what you noted below, but after I got it... I started transferring for friends, relatives, etc. I now love it! Up to you. Have you read my free report? I do have a question regarding the name I put on the application. I filed out my application as a XXXXXXX but after reading your suggestions decided I need to XXXXXXXX. Will it be possible for me to make the name change with the visiting inspector or will I need to fill out another form? An will this delay my license? Any insight would be appreciated. Gary

They will let you change it during their actual visit. The background check is done on you and that is the only thing that holds it back. Call them and ask them before they come, easier to fix now than later. I assume you will have to send another copy to the local sheriff as well. If you change it later, yes an entire NEW application.... Good luck Gary, proud of you sir!

Message: I have a question that I am getting conflicting answers to. I am interested in ordering your program for a simple FFL license and maybe class III later. I am seeing wording on "kitchen table" dealers where they specifically say the ATF does not allow you to apply at with a residence address,it has to be an actual storefront with rent and utilities. Is this true?? I do not want the expense of a storefront and really do not plan to sell to the public other than to friends or family. I mainly want the FFL for myself, the ease of shipping a gun to the house and the benefits of wholesale pricing for myself. Thanks for any help you can give me to clear up that wording before I spend the $,I live in TX.

David - Thanks for the questions! I have my FFL & Class 3 from my house address. Attached is proof. That is what my guides do; ensure you get approved for a home FFL license. Look forward to working with you! I get more sales from TX than any other state. Thanks!

Thanks for the info,I feel better now that I saw your actual FFL license. I will be ordering your course this week. I do have one more question. If I have questions after I order could I ever speak with you on the phone personally if I wanted to or would I get someone else? Thanks again,I look forward to working with you also.... David

David- I am a one man show,so guess you will speak with me! I live in SD and headed pheasant hunting for a couple days in the morning, but I will have my BlackBerry and always available for questions. Thanks again!

What is the cost of the FFL license? What is the cost of a class 3 license? You state this can be run from a home address. Absolute 100% about the home address? Thanks for your quick reply.
Ron -If I order the 2 books today how long does the paperwork take to fill out and file with the ATF?
  • You have to order the fingerprint cards and ATF application from ATF (application has four copies, front to back, yellow paper - not practical to download and print yourself),I give you their direct number, takes a week for the items to arrive. Several forms you need to request from them,I tell you which ones
  • Paperwork takes maybe 30 to 45 minutes to complete,I did one the other night to get a new FFL for a business I am buying, write the same thing 4 times
  • Get passport pictures taken

How long is the entire process take and at what total cost?

  • See FAQ on website, could take 6 weeks, but more likely 8 to 10 to be honest, does depend how far away you are from your regional ATF office. They legally have 60 days to respond to your request.

You state this can be run from a home address. Absolute 650 about the home address? Thanks for your quick reply.

  • • YES,I have mine at home, attached proof. Unless a local law forbids it,which is rare in most areas. I have 650 guarantees, never have paid out,but if you are the first,I am fine with that sir!I am here to help!

Hi Brandon,I live in California and wonder if you have had any customers that have used your system to get there FFL and Class 3 in California. With the strict gun laws we have in this state,I don't know if a class 3 license can even be used here. Another thing that concerns me is that I would like to get my FFL at my home address, but wonder how you keep your address safe from wrong-doers. Can a PO Box be used as a public address, but then have other FFL's send to my home. How would this work? Any help will be appreciated. If I can figure these issues out,I look forward to using your system. Thanks,David XXXXX

David -I agree with you on the Class 3,some states let Class 3's have tons of freedom... but probably not worth the annual fee for a few additional freedoms in CA. The home address is fine, the ATF never publically releases your FFL address,no one would know. Have to use a physical address, cannot use a POB unfortunately. The address is where the gun inventory is accounted for and maintained. I have tons of customers from CA,honestly I don't get as much feedback after they apply than I do before they apply. It is a Federal License, unless your city has a law against it,you are fine believe it or not if you follow my guide specifically. ATF and I will refund you money if you are denied. I have never had anyone denied... my guide is good! I work so closely with people and their situations,I have learned SOOOOO MUCH!

Can you check this out and let me know, either way,if you can guarantee me getting my license and being able to work a gun business (and hold a Class 3) from my home? Thank you.

Remember it is a Federal License,so they would have had to gone to a lot of trouble on a local level to outlaw it. I have never seen a city I could not help someone get their FFL in,this might be the first. If you are denied the ATF & I will refund you money,up to you sir! Message: Naturally I'm not sure what to think. I want to start a business where i sell firearms. But there are a lot of kits out there just like this one. But I'm afraid to try any. Even your site make me skeptical,I viewed the gun broker feedback, with only 10 feedback since 2004. Which leads to questions like why would you get your FFL but not sell more than 10 guns? And since it is against the rules to sell guns on E-bay why would being an E-bay power seller matter? I also viewed this feedback, and it's all items that have nothing to do with firearms. And last,if I buy your product and I do not qualify for an FFL for whatever reason do I still get my money back?

Dale -Most of my FFL sales are silencers,so only within the state of SD per the federal laws and not on Gunbroker. E-bay feedback shows I have a track record of honesty,262 positive feedbacks since 1998 and ALL of them positive is somewhat UNHEARD of my friend. YES,ATF asks for a 30 days notice. The inspector will check location out and make sure you are not in violation of any local laws, but yes very easy to move the address though. Glad you are enjoying sir!
