Don’t sell any gun to someone if you know it to be a straw purchase. (For more information on that subject, see our blog on Straw Purchases). Also, don’t sell a long gun to a person under 18 years of age or a handgun to a person under 21 years of age.

A law that some, but not all, …

FFL License With Multiple Names

FFL License Setup

Setting up your FFL is a decision that requires a little bit of thought. Some decide to get their federal firearms license strictly as an individual while others choose to set up a LLC or other more formal corporate structure. FFL Wholesalers

As you’ve likely gathered, one of the biggest perks of having your FFL license is the ability to purchase guns and accessories through wholesalers. FFL License Requirements

Many people are interested in getting their FFL license but then wonder, “Am I eligible?” The question is usually prompted in relation to age or getting in a bit of trouble in the past.

The guidelines put forth by the ATF in order to get a FFL license aren’t as stringent as one might believe. Of course, the ATF isn’t going to let a criminal get a license which allows them to buy and sell guns, but that time you ran a red light 5 years ago isn’t going to prevent you from getting your FFL either. FFL Dealer – NICS background check

The Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act, also known as the Brady Law or Brady Act, completely changed how firearms businesses operate when it comes to the sale of firearms. The Brady Law was signed into effect by President Bill Clinton on November 30, 1993.
